Firstly, well played all of you - I couldn't be there unfortunately, but great effort to all foxes who journeyed up.

Tell me all please, how was Hughes (I love him) and how was Steffan Moore? that was 65 minutes of him wasn't it? How did we look without a big target man up front?

Thanks!!!!

Open letter to Alex and anybody else in London and the S.E.

I've no idea if financial considerations were what kept you away from this match, but you and all other City fans living in London and the south-east should be aware that there is a group of fans who travel from London to all games, home and away.

We have an organiser who finds the cheapest of rail fares, and use cars and/or minibuses for matches that are not accessible by train.

Fare to Saturday home games is £14 from St Pancras. Yesterday we paid £25 to get to the Sunderland game from Kings Cross.

Anybody who is interested can PM me for further details.

Hughes did well, a bargain for £100k -he will be a big player for us next season, he's the only midfielder we have who can genuinely create IMO. If he could eradicate this ridiculous obsession with over egging easy chances and just pull the trigger, he would have some more goals too.

Moore looked OK, wouldnt like to judge him on 65 mins but I'm not convinced yet. He looked shaky when presented with shooting chances, carries the ball well though and has pace which we so desperatley need.

We were much the worse for MDV going off. He had a good start to the game, won every header he went for! People need to lay off him before they destroy him. He will come good, I saw signs of it yesterday, he has good feet and it looks like they had been working on him heading. Without him we struggled for an outlet.

I agree, from now on I want to be DeVries' official supporter...and keep you lot in line.

Lay off 'im! :-x

'ere 'ere. He has the potential. He is a professional so he shouldn't need us to treat him any different. However, he may be a touch sensitive and we need to treat him well. I think he will come good.

Yes' let's rap him up in cotton wool and sing him lickle lullabies to send him off to sleepy-weepies

He's a f*ckin' grown man for f*ck's sake. If he can't hack it, then he can f*ck off as far as I'm concerned

"Touch sensitive" FFS

Lets not get into this - He hasn't had a fair crack of the whip yet. And we all know that a player will perform worse if the crowds on his back.

Wake up and realise that nothing comes instantly in Football!
