Does anyone know what happens with this next season ? I can imagine the highlights may be reduced due to premier league rules - also I currently use the FL app to access it and I'm not sure if there is a Premier League equivalent

The club would still be contracted to be on the Player platform so nothing should change. I've just looked on the Android app and Cardiff, Palace and Hull are on there, including highlights.

I'm surprised the club doesn't just go it's own way on the website. The player platform is dreadful and I can't imagine it brings in significant revenues.

They're in a long term contract and it would cost a significant amount to get out of it.

The premium part of the site. Which hasn't been updated in a good 5 years. Not my department but I agree that it isn't the best of experiences. They\we also own/run the video player you find on the Mercury articles.

The actual main website, that's a different group that basically gives the clubs template options. The shitiness of the city website is down to the club really.

A lot of clubs are unhappy with the content management system. There are only a handful of templates to choose from, the thing often crashes, articles can take a while before appearing etc...

Yeah. I was referring to the ux to the end user. For what it's worth I think the best one I've seen is the Wolves site.

Doesn't surprise me to hear the other issues though. Again, that isn't the company I work for.

The iPad/iPhone app is quite erratic. Last week the Player part wasn't working. That's working fine now, but now there are no fixtures in the fixture list and no tables in the table section. Shambles!
