I know it is something that has been raised many times, but can you continue to try and sort out the catering on matchdays please. The food often takes 25 mins to get and often runs out of supply. It is not unusual to get food that is still cold in the middle, it really is very very poor.

30,000 people getting a pie and a drink in a ten minute period will result in chaos.
FT, can you lobby the FA to increase half time from 15 minutes to 2 hours please?
if you don't succeed you don't love your club...

30,000? You must be kidding!

They should get the catering back to how it was at Filbert Street in the 80's.Hot drinks were just that 'hot drinks' no taste and if you dared a pie/pasty at half time you'd know by the second minute of injury time you would be begging the ref to blow so that you could make a dash for the shithouse. We all knew where we stood, awful catering pays your money you takes your chance.

Its not like the people who designed the stadium did not know how many people were going to be there on a match and should have designed the catering facilities as such.

The caterers are just plain shite and completely understaffed, they as whole need a kick up the arse, being busy for 20 mins in a day does not constitute a hard days work.

I've found that the thing to do is nip down to the kiosk 2 mins before the restart, no queues!!! Balti pie in no time, unless they run out.

Even then it can sometimes be a struggle! Doesnt help that me dad likes a pint and obviously has to drink it before we go upstairs.

I think they should employ people who come around selling "dawgs" and stuff like in the US of A. That would mean less queues at half time and also give Marco a job.

Think maybe vending machines are the way forward they would be a lot quicker for those people that only want a soft drink/crisps etc. Also they have more about them than some of the staff on a match day.

I see what you are saying. I run the risk of losing the pie if we score but it's not happened yet, long odds on a second half goal I would imagine. :)

They would break down too often though, how about a huge wall split off into hundreds of partitions, each containing a culinary delight and each requiring £2 to open the perspex door to get at the grub.

At last we have found a use for Blake and Morris.

If Blake started at 3pm he would have only reached the first corner flag by full time.

i think you'll find you're wrong...

At Ajax they have a credit card system contained on your season ticket swipe card which pays for public transport to and from the game, soft drinks beer, hot and cold food from sealed containers instantly accessible. I find this pretty advanced compared to being served by the lad who macdonalds turned down who stands gormlesssly watching while the bloke who looks like a sex offender from the wheeltappers and shunters club stands pouring you a pint of corpse body fluid

If you can provide us with more details we will raise it with the club. The caterers are on a penalty claused contract, so any information supplied many save the club some money.

Could do with knowing

What do they run out of?

Which type of food is cold in the middle?

Which 'bar' was it at (or at least in which stand)?
- we need to pin point problem areas in case some areas are worse than others

Would appreciate anybody else who wishes to add their experiences

Would be useful via e-mail [email protected]
