this sounds like a rave tune circa 1990 at the beggining. awesome. I reckon they should've just re-released the original

I can't find it on youtube but Timebox also did an excellent version of Beggin'

Without a doubt, Frankie & the boys is as good as it gets, although I do love the string arrangement on the Timebox version..
'tis unusual though to have two quality versions of the same song released at a similar time.
