According to the Hinckley website, they have a friendly with us on Monday 19th November on a neutral ground? Anyone heard anything about this? :icon_conf

Oh god, yes we do have a friendly with them.

That means i am going to have to make that one wherever it is.

Otherwise i won't be keeping my 100% attendance record going this season.

There was a leaflet at the ground advertising the 'Westerby Cup, cup winners cup' against Hinkley. I didn't really take much notice of it so that could be it.

the name change thing didn't happen after all did it?

i'm interested by that fixture list, might pop to the blyth away game in march

I can confirm it's the Westerby Cup Winners Cup. Noticed it on Saturday at Quorn.

For starters Maybury was holding the cup in a picture - so that tells you it's restricted to the ressies.

Hmmmm I know there is a Westerby Cup, first time I've ever heard of the Westerby Cup Winners Cup! Sounds a bit pointless to be honest.

It's obvious - a chance for the winners of the Westerby Cup in Leics to play the other winners of Westerby Cups all around the.... oh, yeah, you've got a point actually....

You haven’t heard of it because it’s the first time it been played. I think it is being played at Holmes Park, Dog and Gun Lane, Whetstone. (County FA headquarters)

im going this from the FA

It is new this year. Leicester didn't want to compete in the Westerby Cup anymore, so they made an arrangement to have the winner of the 2006/07 Westerby Cup to play against Leicester.
