Free scoring youngster joins from Leicester City.
20-year-old striker Louis Dodds has agreed to join up with the Imps on a season long loan from Championship side Leicester City - with his goal to get City promoted.
"I'm delighted to join Lincoln and hopefully I'll be able to get regular first team football under my belt."
"There's tough competition here and it's going to be a real challenge for me to get into the team but I know that the experience of the likes of Jamie Forrester, Steve Torpey and Mark Stallard is really going to help me develop.
"My aim is to get into the first team and help the Club win promotion."
Dodds' record at youth and reserve level is second to none, with the former England U18 international netting 65 goals in his last three seasons.
The young striker has been a long term target for John Schofield, but an injury prevented the move to happen prior to the France tour.
Schofield said, "We've been looking at Louis for quite some time now and we're pleased that the move is complete and Louis can now meet the rest of the lads and settle in.
"He'll add a bit of pace up front, and he's hungry and knows where the back of the net is."
The final paper work is being signed off and both clubs are awaiting confirmation from the Football League.
