City carpet out 'at least two weeks', so could be a while.

Green light given for a replacement on loan as suddenly the board have found some money. Seems there is near enough a deal done the way the OS express the situation.

Shame MB and Newton aint here to enlight us all.

Have been rumours about this on the Rivals site for some time - including the fact that the "at least two weeks" actually means months

Is Brian Deane still playing......??

We need an experienced player in up front, however whoever we get I fear the reaction from some quarters will be something along the lines of "too old"

Getting someone else in on loan seems to imply that MDV might as well get rid of his Leicestershire house/flat then!

im now called collymore at uni

not because im a dogging/wifebashing/drugaddict/depressed

but because we made up fake names for each other one night and its now stuck

Is there a hidden agenda here somewhere??? is Fryatt off in January, have we taken a bid for him?? but the other are concerned and dont want him to play for us ?

this could be a blessing in disguise. With MF out, who wasn't looking as sharp as he did when he first came, we can now loan a striker which is good and will keep us guessing, hope the striker is a decent one no doubt rumours will start flying in, im guessing we need a striker before southampton being so we have quite a few matches; 4 games in 10 days.

Bet it doesn't happen. We'll have thread after thread of speculation and then Elvis/Hume will start against Southampton.

I was getting at the point and Hume/Elvis did start against Sheff Utd which in many ways was good tactics, Sheff Utd's back 4 is generally slow, better to hit with speed than a long ball.

Hume and Elvis looked good in the Stoke match away, even though we lost i thought they looked good in that match.

Be an interesting indicator to the boards ambition and Kelly's nose in the market as to who we actually bring in
