according to the news of the world we have offered to pay 750k for this boy, seems a lot to me.

That will be (if true) inclusive of all add-ons, one of which I would imagine would be a promotion incentive.

bloody hell there wont be alot of cash left if he's costing that much
exactly, but true,it would even scupper any possible loan signings aswell i would of thought.

more like a "non-relegation" clause in our current position i would think.

true very true this could be anther cl balls up imo, unless he got money for a striker and the ppl that have left gone out on loan would cover anther player coming in what do you all think ???

I would suspect that it would go to that much only if certain things happen.. would be damn stupid otherwise. Don't forget that we may well have that extra million coming in over the summer from the Connolly sale

Perhaps that much with add-ons etc etc but very few Transfer fees are paid for straight off nowadays,a lot are paid in installments.

it's only the news of the world... they hardly get any of the rumours right ever.
Merson has already said that 300K is enough to lure Fryatt away from Walsall, so why would CL go and spend 750K on him?
CL might be a bit crap, but he isn't stupid.

It has already been stated through a number of sources that Walsall were prepared to sell for around 250k with additional payments to be made in terms of add ons, I would imagine the total deal will amount to 750k, if we pay that amount over the lads career with us then the likelihood is he will have been a big success for us !

if anyone thinks 1 player will change everything they are dreaming, it looks very likely now tho that joey is on his way out probably for around 500k, so I think there will be more then 1 signing but funded by sales.

Why would anyone pay £500k for half a season??

I reckon about 350k up front and the rest on goals scored, promotion, international honours etc,,, i hope Walsall get the lot!!
