tell them to f*** off, they did screw us about over the whole Fulop thing :icon_lol:

3 mill and he's theres.

If thats the case, then I think he'd go.

I thought it was a dead cert him going to man city in the summer (before their take-over), maybe he thought so too.

And for David Connolly? Well, I suppose it's a fair trade if he plays as well as he did before he was sold... interesting to see how he would fair with his replacement, Hume

Aye, because he was top notch at finding the back of the net. :icon_eek:

Connolly's coming?, best be getting plenty of white "woodwork" paint in stock then.

17 in 49 isnt that bad, and before he left he got a hatrick against Stoke and looked to be on target to get 20 plus for us.

However i dont think he would fit in here now
But like Hume, Connolly's problem is the amount of easy chances he misses, not the amount he scores.

Score them easy chances, and he becomes a top class striker.

Sunderland move for Leicester striker Fryatt
tribalfootball.com - February 17, 2008

Sunderland boss Roy Keane is chasing Leicester City striker Matty Fryatt.
Keane is prepared to offer cash plus veteran forward David Connolly in exchange for the England U21 international.

i wouldnt mind connolly back, he has a great song and he did well for us. matty hasnt really got any better in the two or three tears we've had him so i think that would be a great deal on our part. i dont really mind about the fulop thing because he was only trying to compensate for spending too much on gordon.

Bollux to them. We should put a ridiculous price on his head like they did with Fulop. Premier lge clubs are flushed with money, so lets screw them for a change.

How? if we go stupid and stick a £37.00 price tag on Fryatt, Sunderland will just tell us to fcuk off :icon_wink

dont sell him,a young player who will imo go on to be a very good player. It seems to me that all of you negatives on here forget that it was his goals that kept us in this division when he arrived.Since when we have never had a team to provide him or anyone else with the chances strikers thrive on.Now we do have a team on paper at least that can provide balls to the forwards hes not had a chance to prove himself, cant believe hes been finding himself below Hayles in the pecking order.
Now that ive had my little moan, great performance yesterday passion and belief, almost made me forget Blackpool

IF they really want Fryatt, I would think that it would not be beyond the wit of man for Milan to negotiate a sensible price for Fullop which included a Fryatt part exchange. This could be to both teams advantage: City could price Fryatt as a small part - reduce the sell-on fee - and Keane could inflate his value and pretend he got to within a country mile of his £3mill valuation.
