[Avril Levein]

Given that Levein's primary reason for the release of Walker, Dabizas, Gillespie etc was more a matter of funds than anything else, does anyone have a clue how much we have to spend in the transfer market, or how much we can afford on wages for new players?

Given the reasons for releasing these players, I believe a few more could be moved on as well, obviously Scowy, Makin and probably Wilcox will also be shipped out, but IMO there will be a few in contract players moving on to assist in raising funds for new signings, my suspects are as follows :

Matt Heath - IMO Levein does not rate him and will ship him out this summer for a fee of around 250k.

Tommy Wright - Has struggled to establish himself and seems to be treading water IMO he will either be loaned out or sold to lower league club.

Joey Gudjonsson - Too inconsistent and fustrating, would not surprise me to see Joey moved on in the summer probably abroad.

Peter Canero - Does not seem to figure in CL's plans at all and does seem a little injury prone, could be used as a makeweight in a deal to bring in somebody from Scotland.

Lee Morris - What more can I say ?

Need to spend wisely though, I think when Taylor first took over, our budget was probably on a par with the Manures, Arseholes, and the likes.
Hopefully CL can spot some more bargains in the mould of Hughes, McCarthy, Maybury, etc.

does anyone else fear that due to our poor support this season and how much MA wasted on the likes of keown etc and their respective pay-offs that our budget may be in the range of bugger all and **** all?
