Championship trio Sunderland, Leicester and Stoke are all chasing RKC Waalwijk defender Cerezo Fung a Wing.
The three English clubs have watched the defender in action on several occasions this season.
Fung has impressed for RKC this term despite their struggles in De Eredivisie with the side sitting rock bottom of the table.
The 23-year-old's future at RKC is up in the air with his current contract due to expire in the summer.
RKC have an option to extend Fung's contract, but the Dutchman is unsure what his future holds.
"I am willing to stay for a longer period in Waalwijk, however I want to know my future soon," Fung told De Telegraaf.
Sunderland, Leicester and Stoke could all wait until next summer before making a move for Fung as he will be available on a free transfer.

Cerezo Fung a Wing (Paramaribo, 24 september 1983) is een in Suriname geboren voetballer die anno 2006 onder contract staat bij RKC Waalwijk.
Fung a Wing speelde voor SV Bijlmer, VV Voorland en FC Abcoude alvorens hij bij FC Volendam terecht kwam. In het seizoen 2001/2002 maakt hij zijn debuut voor 'het andere oranje'. Dat seizoen kwam Fung a Wing tot 21 wedstrijden. In het volgende seizoen stond Fung a Wing 30 keer opgesteld en maakte daarin ook zijn eerste treffer. Met Volendam promoveerde hij via de nacompetitie naar de Eredivisie, waar hij in het seizoen 2003/2004 15 wedstrijden speelde. Volendam degradeerde weer en Fung a Wing kwam nog 17 keer uit voor Volendam in de eerste divisie (2 doelpunten) voor hij in de winterstop werd overgenomen door RKC Waalwijk. Voor de Waalwijkers speelde hij dat seizoen nog 4 wedstrijden. Fung a Wing heeft een contract tot de zomer van 2007.

Looks me like he's had a similar career path to that of De Vries of Surinamese origin and had a speel at Volendam. On just started to play league games, just broke into side.

He seems to be either injured or a bench warmer as does he not seem to play many games per season, including this.

Also most of his football seems to be in the Dutch second tier and that is not fertile ground imo. ;)

Fung is a footballer that is currently under contract in 2006 to Waalwijk.

Fung played for Bijlmer Voorland and Abcoude before he came on trial to Volendam. In the 2001/2002 season he made his debut for the 'the other orange'. That season Fung played in 21 games. In the following season Fung played in 30 games and got his first goal. He was promoted with Volendam via the play offs to the Eredivisie where in the 2003/2004 season Fung played in 15 games. Voledam were relegated again Fung played 17 times for Volendam in the first division before he was transferred to Waalwijk. For the Waalwijkers he played four times again that season. Fung has a contract until the Summer of 2007. ;)

Let's get him in just for his name. None of our players have interesting names. His exotic name will scare strikers because they'll think he's amazing!
