What is the latest regarding Gareth Williams' injury, from the sounds of it last night it did not sound too good having to go to hospital and then returning on crutches, although this could of just been a precaution which i hope it was! what has he actually injured?? his ankle???
 
it was some part of his leg :102: :icon_lol: hope it is only precautionary he looked very good in the short time he was on the pitch
 
Williams was great last night, played some brilliant through balls. Our midfield was far poorer for him going off. Hughes was hopeless again.

agreed :038: it seem to take us a while to get used to him not being there..as for hughes :102:

so whats up with him then?? or is it just a conspiracy theory that he got injured as there seems to be no information regrading the subject and knowone on here seems to know sweet FA about what he 'has' done!! YV has narowed it down to possible a leg injury, thanks for that, but that could be anything!!
 
Williams was impressive as he was against Southampton, let's hope he can recover quickly as without him we are void of any creativity in the middle of the park.

It wasn't a conspiracy we all saw it, but we aint doctors, nor were we close enough to see, so we will have to wait for the club to tell us.

I'm in no rush to find out, we'll find out if need be. Hope it's not serious though as he is now beginning to realise his potential

whoa steady on there, it was only a bit of a joke as no1 seemed to know absolutely anything aboot it!! just been watching that new episode of south park too much all about conspiracies.

all i wanted to know was what he had injured as i thought it may of been an ankle injury but now i know it is a knee problem, cheers durham, even though they both could be as bad as each other!!

BTW i believe the sooner we know the full extent of williams' injury the better becuase if it is going to be a long injury 1 month + then i think we should be looking for a loanee in that area as it will be leaving desperately thin on quality and numbers
 
The fact he went to hoospital alone is cause for concern, but you are right about cover MC, he is starting to shine and without him last night we looked shite
 
If Williams starts playing to his ability and stears clear of injury then happy times are ahead.....
