No and No.

Thats a massive risk to take on someone who is completely unproven.

And highland likes boys, but he wouldn't want one as manager....

Because he has a vast knowledge of football 4 a start. He may not have done great at Cov, but who has? O'Neill wasnt excatly good at Norwich!! Look what he did for us! It was also his first real managerial job. Im sure hell much better now!

Plus he alraedy lives in Leicestershire!!

Having a vast knowledge of football is only a small part of what's required to be a good manager.

If we're planning to get someone in to escape from a relegation we need someone with a proven record.

Now you're just proving how little you know.

O'Neill left Norwich because of problems with the chairman, nothing to do with results. His points per game record with them was much better than his record with us. He was there for 20 games but he only lost four of them.

It was also his first real managerial job. Im sure hell much better now!

What makes you so sure?

Plus he alraedy lives in Leicestershire!!

So do I. Maybe I should get the job :icon_roll

Somebody already said on here that anybody on this board could do a better job than CL - so you're well-qualified.

That's your argument? God help us.

i don't think Gary Mac's time at Coventry real demonstrates how good of a manager he could be. I don't think he was there for long, and left to care for his ill wife. So employing him as manager would be a great leap of faith.

I think Wycombe Wanderers might have something to say about that.:018:

My moneys on Steve Cotterill.
He loves the club and more importantly the board rate him highly.
Done a good job since he left.......
