After yesterdays debacle I thinks its time for the CL to start building his own team - In seasons past we have always had players who were missed when injured or suspended but in the present squad there isn't ONE player who you can say honestly say improves the team - I'm fed up with reading comments like "good team on paper " etc - Its time to open our eyes and take off the rosy coloured specs - Leicester City F.C. are a very poor side and people who still harbour dreams of promotion I say for god's sake wake up - There is not one player who you could say "lets build the team around him" - there are a few youngsters who need to be given a run in the 1st team but they are not the whole answer - perhaps we need to look further a field and sign some foreign players - what ever happens this present squad of players need to be gotten rid off as they are simply not up to the task - CL has a massive job on his hands (bigger than even he thought ) but I'm confident that he will be a winner in the end - It is however going to take alot more than a few games to sort out this mess

I would say there is one player and one player only I think warrants a start week in week out...Danny Tiatto, when he's not injured or suspended.

If I was Levien, I would take each player that played badly one at a time behind the bike sheds and give them a good hiding and then fine them. and if they played the same way again I would do it all again.

They are stabing him in the back, and some self defence is needed.
kick fcyk into them Craig

The biggest problem we have is that too many of these players already know they wont be here come the start of next season and therefore could not care less.

CL is now going to have to be very brave and drop some of these players before it gets any worse.

Players I would build team around for the remainder of the season : Taylor or Walker, Stewart, Tiatto, Williams, Dawson, Stearman, Heath, Keown (for his attitude and commitment), Nalis, Gudjonnsson, Connolly, Gillespie, Morris (Give him time). I would also look to give a few of the promising youngsters an opportunity to show what they can do, and if the financial situation allows maybe draft in 2 or 3 players either on permanent or loan deals.

Players I would drop and try to move on : Gemmill, Dabizas, Scowcroft, Makin, Benjamin, Dublin and Blake.

None of these players at present are either good enough or show any amount of passion for Leicester City, they are footballing parasites.

The current squad is clearly not good enough or interested in taking LCFC forward with CL, so we may as well blood some of these youngsters and give them an opportunity, at least by the start of the new season CL would be aware if any of these players were up to the rigours of first team football, and we may just unearth a couple of gems, it may also instill a bit of spirit into the place.

Get rid of Makin as well, but as Step said give him a good kicking first

I beg to differ on your choice of players in these two lists. You can't say that Trevor Benjamin is a footballing parasite - he gives his all every game whether or not he's good enough and rather than 'not showing any amount of passion for Leicester City' I think Benjamin along with Tiatto is one of the players who gives his all every single minute of every single game.

I also think Scowcroft is a good player to build a team around and that he gives more of a toss for Leicester City than Joey Gudjonnson or Lee Morris, who haven't done anything noteworthy in a Foxes shirt.

If anybody leaves in the next month it will be solely dependent on another club wanting them.

Wish lists of departures are meaningless if nobody wants them
