Walker has intermated that he would like to stay with us next season - get him signed up Craig - our defence looks so much better with him back in the team

I could not agree more. He commands the box so well, up to his wage demands I guess; I can't believe CL would want to get rid of him, he rates him as the best keeper in the Championship.

Fellow cityfan at work was saying that Walker has been quoted with stating that he's happy at city and wants to saty and is willing to take a pay cut. Don't know how true this is (might just be wishing thinking on her part - don't trust her word completely as she rated scowy and said Nalis was shite) but we should definitely get him to resign if possible. Building blocks of any decent team starts with a quality keeper.

She was talking about this:
The 33-year-old will accept a reduction in salary to sign fresh terms but is anxious for some direction from the club.
"I'll stay here if they offer me a contract but they're leaving it a bit late," said Walker.
"It would be nice if they offered something that I could say yes or no to.
"I was worried about it because I've been out for so long with the injury.
"But the club have got to come to us at some stage but it is getting nearer the end of the season.
"There's no point in getting worried about my situation because I'm just happy to be back playing."

Walker sees this Cup run as an opportunity to put himself in the shop window. ;-)
