I think he's done okay and improved a hell of a lot since Levein took charge, so I'd be inclined to offer him a new one year contract.

or possibly the option ' No because once he's got his new contract he will be as crap as he was before Levein arrived which co-incided with him remembering that his existing contract was running out'.

I'm sure i did put another option saying no waste of time, but it doesn't seemed to have worked!

I disagree i think since he's been playing regular he's been one the consistantly good players, he's scored 2 set up a lot, and seems to be one of few midfielders we have that is comfortable with the ball and can take it passed a few

Agreed. He may not be the most skillful player in the team, but he can work enough space for a cross, he has put some fantastic crosses in this season, just a shame we don't seem to have a striker who can head the ball.
