Former Leeds United goalkeeper Glan Letheran was today unveiled as Leicester City’s new goalkeeping coach.

Letheran joins the club following the summer departure Tim Flowers to Manchester City.

The Welsh under 17 coach will hook up with Micky Adams men on Monday ahead of a pre-season friendly against Milton Keynes on Tuesday night.

Letheran (48 ) moved to Scunthorpe after a three-year spell as a player at Elland Road, but would enjoy the most successful part of his career with Bangor City. He ended his career at Llanelli in the Welsh League.

City boss Adams said: “Glan has been coaching the Welsh under 17 side with Ian Rush.

“I met him on a pro-licence course earlier this summer in Wales and he will initially join us on a three month trial.”

Who??? Would have preferred Pressman as goalie coach.

What do you mean WHO.....The Glan Letheran,the one who did so well at Bangor,finished his days at Llanelli...don't you know anything about football! Did so well at Bangor got them to The Max Boyce Centennary Cup Final lost 2-1 to Rhyl....yeah that Glan Letheran.
