Have those of you that wish to attend all got your action plan ready for a week on Sunday?

Did you hear the organiser moaning that they hadnt sold many tickets because the big act was only Jay Z :)

****ing good organiser he is.

Not surprised. Jay-Z should never be there in a million years. And as much as I love the other 2 headliners (Kings Of Leon and The Verve), I don't think they are headline material.

For those going, I'm sure it will still be a quality few days, with the likes of Elbow and the Editors also confirmed.

jay Z?

are they deliberately taking the piss to see how much Radio 2 listeners will cough up, just cos it's Glasto?

I'd honestly rather go Glastonbudget and I will, hope it's not as cold as last year though

Who cares who is headlining Glastonbury?
There are plenty of other stages and stuff to do if you don't like someone.

i do

if i pay good money, i want to see someone good

as for the other stages, they'll be packed with fans who hate Jay-Z

Worst in years. That is gash. Jay -Z whilst Massive Attack play next door...fecking hell. Fratelli's last but one on the Pyramid...fecking hell. That Friday Pyramid line-up is fecking Butlins stuff apart KoL and Editors. Saturday is dull...wtf is James Blunt doing there.

Looks like a shit weekend for telly.

Agreed, other than Shakin' Stevens it's absolute shite.

and jay-z doing the big gig at the MK bowl this year too. Fecking useless. Prefer to see the goombay dance band

The pyramid stage is crap anyway, unless you manage to get to the front.

The other stages are more like proper gigs.

The only attraction of something like Glastonbury is the opportunity to see loads of bands in a few days. Gigs in small venues are much better.

I am talking from the opinion of an armchair fan - you have work superbly channel switching and keeping an eye on the red button options to see some of the more 'in depth' stages.
