I was at the match and thought Gillespie had a poor game - although probably partly due to orders.
In the first hald he was playing virtually as a second right back, trying to mark Ashley Cole, but not doing a very good job.
He moved to the left wing when England scored, but didn't do much from that position.
I also thought England had a decent first half - they created plenty of chances, but poor finishing and good goalkeeping kept the scores level.

Can't remember the name of the stand (think it might be the North one?), but I was in the tallest stand alongside the side of the pitch, in tier 3, five rows from the back.
I was level with the penalty spot, in the half England were attacking in the first half.
I'll be at Wednesday's match, in the Newcy Brown stand.
