I know in the passed you have all debated what sort of half time entertainment you would like to see. But I have an idea which I would like your comments on:
* The Gold draw is crap and the top prize is only ever £400 or so and the second & third is a hot air balloon ride and a gym membership…mmmmmm...great!
* The running around of little people now and again around the pitch is amusing and I think we have won more times than the opposition, which is saying something at the Walkers at present - but we only have this when there is usually some good away support for the LCFC staff to pick some kids out to play.
* Instead of the both of these why not change the Gold draw and sell the chance at £1 per ticket to take 5 penalties against the youth keeper in the nets down in front of the kop. Two winners drawn every home match and you take your penalties and the following home game. Winner of the shoot out wins a signed shirt from the lads from that game. This would certain make more money for the club than the Gold draw - make half time more interesting and most importantly it would give people like you and me a chance like you to for fill a life long dream and score (hopefully) in front of the kop! The kids get a chance to run onto the pitch as a mascot, we don't. It the only chance I will get to have a kick about at the Walkers.
What do you think? - Is this a good option? - Will the Foxes Trust mention it to the club as an idea?
Dreaming of putting one in the top corner.........
