I may be mistaken, and it's not really relevant but I don't think FO works for Everton, just supports them.

He used to (or still does) work within the medical department at Everton and has very good friends at Leicester in a similar capacity. His track record with information regarding ourselves is very good, so I'd believe this.

As for the signing, on paper it sounds solid enough. Young, has a season of first-team football under his belt and won both of Sheffield United's player awards last season. Pearson's record with centre backs is generally excellent so I don't have too many fears about this one at this stage.
