Is this good news, if you know what I mean?

BR just said 6 weeks will be minimum. It is a knee problem that he's been carrying so they know what's happened. It needs an op.

He had a clash a few weeks ago and it's been irritating him ever since.

Which is the best sort of knee injury, yes? ACL is shit and bust. Everything else is good news

Correct. Somewhat depends on the damage if it’s cartilage I think.

When I did mine in my knee it was two options:

cartilage removal - quick recovery but can lead to long term issues with arthritis etc

cartilage repair - takes longer to recover (6-8 weeks) but a better long term prognosis

I had mine removed.

It’s all speculation of course.

In other news, Ndidi has just been abducted by aliens and Brendan has had a ticking time bomb planted in his chest cavity.

It's crap news (not least for Barnes who has been playing so well) at a crap time. We've barely an attacking threat to field at the moment.

We should be looking to Burney our way through this a bit.

Field the biggest, strongest side we can and go very direct.
