HC Connection

In my living room, Kitchen and both bedrooms there is a connection which looks like an aerial connection but it has 'HC' written above it and what looks like a picture of a roof. I have tried to tune in my spare tv using the connections but none of them work.

Just wondering if anybody on here had a clue what the connection was for?

Could be a Homechoice connection.

Is it a normal coax connection or is it threaded? Is your building new? Can you identify an aerial and maybe a sky dish on the roof? Have you called your agent/landlord?

Presuming it has standard RF connectors that you were able to connect your TV into when you tried to tune it, have you tried taking the faceplate off to see if anything is actually connected behind it?

... and if there is, is there anything connected to the other end of the cable?
