Just watched a bit, they look a useful team , got bored at 3-0 though. Mainly watched it to look at Andy Webter, certainly a lot better than anything weve got, and a nice left foot!, hes gonna cost a lot if we can prise him away!!

what did u think of cesnauskis and mikoliunas? cesnauskis scored on his debut tonight and i thought they both looked a touch of class. in the past month we've had miller, burchill, cesnauskis, mikoliunas, wallace and thorarinsson all score their first goals for us (wallace is a young left back, scored in 3rd start tonite and the others are all recent signings). millers scored 5 from his 7 starts since he joined from bristol city- the futures lookin good we'll forgive u for maybury.....

but with webster tho, i really dont think he'll go in the summer. If we can beat Hibs to 3rd place we'll get into uefa cup and if we use romanovs money and contacts wisely in the summer i think any player would be crazy to leave after the last 2 european campaigns. also, hartley actually put in a transfer request when celtic came in for him but hes still here, so even if webster fancies the move, if hearts dont want to sell we dont have to any more

but aye, ure right, the jambos r ace lol


p.s. i should probably point out that apart from wallace and thoarinsson, all players in the above list are at tynecastle on loan so we should really get them on contracts before any inconsiderate ex-managers appear from out of nowhere...

I had always been looking out for Mark Birchill in the headlines ever since he broke through at Celtic, I could not believe it when u got him for free from Pompey. I thought we could have gone for him and I was surprised that CL had missed out on some Scottish talent.

The question is, Why did CL leave when he knew he would have the opertunity to bring in the players he wants.

a lot of reasons. the takeover was by no means a definite thing back then. it really went to the wire. we could easily have lost tynecastle and gone to the wall at the end of this season or shortly after if it hadnt all gone thru

also, chris robinson, leveins boss at the time, is an utter arsehole, despised by basically everyone. with all this uncertainty, lookin like a doomed job and ure boss an arse wouldnt u leave?
also, he split with his missus and wanted to get away from it
