whoever signs him and whoever he is.

A lot of expectation is going to fall on his shoulders, unless he hits the back of the net from the off I wouldn't like to be in his footy boots.

Under pressure - you bet :eek::eek:

I don't think he's been the same player since he had that bad accident and was in the coma.

thats why it needs to be someone proven and experienced. a young, untested player is more likely to crack.

No necessarily, the patience shown by the fans to Hammond and Hume has been extraordinary. Hammond in particular looks no better than ordinary and still gets almost universal encouragement.

I think who ever comes in January will almost certainly be a senior pro, someone like a Cottee type player plucked from the wilderness.

A Cottee type is exactly what we need IMO,a Fox in the Box.

Wonder if Sylla will be the same player when he comes out of his coma?

we need a poacher. McVeigh did nothing at all yesterdsaqy and still got a goal. We had Cottee, and Claridge before, and we need someone like both of them now.

Connolly back on loan till the end of the season would be good. Wigan are rumoured to be buying another striker anyway.
