Use a proxy.

As the name suggests it is a proxy for the football websites. What happens is that you connect to the proxy and then the proxy connects to the football site you want to go to. It then returns the web page to you. So whatever is blocking you does not see the fact that you are connecting to a football site, it only sees the proxy.

Try this google search for a free proxy web server

Normally I charge £100 an hour or part thereof for this, but as you are a City fan this one is on me.

Good point. My tip would be only good for browsing, I would not be keying passwords for anything sensitive like your bank or credit card and I would think more than twice about shopping.
