Shame if we've sold him only to be replaced by St Ledger.

Onwards and upwards under Sven though and I'm sure there will be more than the one centre half coming in.

Jack Hobbs did very well for us in his first two seasons and I hoped he and Morrison would become the next Cross and Sjoberg or Elliot and Taggs. However, the curse of Sousa seemed to destroy his confidence. Clearly Sven feels he can do better. In that case Hobbs is right to move. I wish him well and will cheer him when he comes to the Walkers. Good luck Jack.

Also why have all the transfers we've been involved in been for undisclosed fees?!
One reason I would guess is that it is none of anyone's business! A couple more serious reasons would be a) You don't want other clubs to know how much/little money you've got and b) with so many add-ons ( e.g. promotion, appearances, international apearances, plus sell-on clauses ) any figure anounced at the transfer date may not bear much relation to what is paid in the end.

Not too bothered. He was great for us under Pearson as everyone says but just wasn't able to recover that great form after Sousa's reign of terror. Arguably he wasn't very good under Sven either, against Man City he was absolutely terrible. Fair enough those are higher quality players but ultimately that's where we want to be and I think the reason he has gone is because Sven has that foresight that he wants to try and build a team that is good enough for the Premier League and not just this league. He also doesn't fit in with Sven's philosophy of total football that he is trying to put on the team. Good move for all concerned really.

HOOOOOOOOOOOOOF!

What a great player, loads of pashun. Shame he looked like Bambi on ice when holding the ball at his feet.

Great player under Pearson, but completely and utterly unsuited to the way both Sousa and Sven want their teams to play football - there's no shame in that, but it was obvious his future would lie away from Leicester.

Mixed feelings. Can do the basics of defending very well but at the same time, he's too much of a confidence player. He's not really vocal, plays on his back foot and his passing is poor. I'll admit I thought a lot of him, earlier this week I watched the season review and some of his mistakes were as bad as Weale's.

The fact he very rarely gets booked is his biggest problem. He's not commanding enough for the bully role and he's not technically good enough to be a graceful defender.

He was woeful for the first 3 or 4 months in League One but improved greatly after that.
Not brilliant last season but would've preferred he stayed.

Giving him away at that money, that's not his fault though.

I always rated him, I think he'll go on to bigger and better things.
