Gigs Hoosiers

I went to see the Hoosiers at the Roadmender in Northampton last night. As it seemed approx 70% of the audience were under 20 and in fancy dress (and I'm not and wasn't) I felt rather old. I only went as my daughters needed a chauffeur.

Anyway there was a good atmosphere but it was rather short. They started saying their goodbyes after only 40 mins. With encores it was only about an hour long.
The 2nd support band wasn't bad though.

Why would they want people to go in fancy dress?, the only answer I can come up with is to detract from there music.

40 minutes FFS. Bring back the days of bands touring for years and learning a load of songs instead of somebody else producing ten songs for a debut album and then sending them out in front of "fans".
