Do the thing where you have a link to another website which is on the word. Ie people say story here and you click on the word "here" to get the link. Loads of people do it on here and i haven't worked out how!:102::icon_lol:

When you enter a URL you get the following

<URL="www.google.com">www.google.com</URL>

But with [ and ] instead of < >

Change that to

<URL="www.google.com">Google</URL>

huzzah! is there a quick way of doing this? or do you have the remember the whole [] thing?

Copy the URL of the destination website, by highlighting it and Ctrl+C.

Type in the text that you wish to use for your text and highlight it.

Click the Insert Link button.

Paste the URL into the dialogue box that opens (in some browsers you may have to delete the 'http://' before doing so).

Click OK.

Job done.

Easier than that as once you have pasted the link the relevant part is already highlighted so you only need to type in whatever you want.

- Right click the URL and choose 'copy'.
- Click on the 'Insert link' tab at the top of the new message window.
- The 'http://' bit is already highlighted so just right click on it and choose paste.
- The resulting URL already has the 'user customisable' bit highlighted ready to simply type in what you want as shown below:

AS soon as you start typing now this will change as shown below:

But that is not the method I suggested.
