We just can't seem to attact players at the moment - first Lovell now Gilbert. The chairman or whoever of Plymouth can rant he doesn't need the money but at the end of the day (and we've seen this ourselves) if a player wants to leave they'll go.
OK we haven't got much money but surely we can't be a worse, certainly in wages terms, than either Aberdeen or Plymouth?
Given the stadium, training facilities and the attendences you'd think, from the outside at least, that we might still be viewed as one of the better Championship teams and a 'step up' for the likes of the Gilberts of this world.
I'm just curious to know what the perception is of LCFC inside the football industry is at the moment and if we're seen as a bad bet career wise?
