How low can we sink ?

Not only do we have the yearly embarrassment of fans being asked to come and clear up outside of the ground, but we are now after someone to do it on a permanent basis. According to Birch on the OS:

"We are looking for maybe a retired couple to come down for a few hours every week and help with the general upkeep on the area surrounding the stadium.

Although the work will be on a voluntary basis I am sure the club will be able to come up with something in the form of a gift for anyone who wants to help out."

So we now cannot afford to pay someone a few quid a week to keep the place tidy. We now have to try and attract a couple of OAPs to do for a "gift"

F*ck me, this shows us sinking to an all time low. I am genuinely bemused by exactly what is going on at our football club. Is it jsut me, or are we a complete laughing stock

This has been going on for some time now -a consistent process of treating all supporters as idiots -when it comes to trying to get crappy jobs done for nothing in an industry where other employees are on megabucks then it is also extremely cynical or really stupid -or both.

Mr Mace is far too busy to engage in such silliness. In fact,I assume he is fully stretched by meetings with marketing consultants and the designers of our best value, award winning programme on how best to exploit an event judged rarer than a coronation. I refer of course to an appearance by City Legend, Lee Morris.
