I was anticipating Milan spending between £2-3 million pre-season in total on extra wages, transfer fees, signing on fees and agents fees.

He appears to gone way past that. Any semi-informed, educated guesses about the current extra spending, taking into account the few that have left, Tiatto etc.?

I don't think anyone knows what kind of wage any of the new signings are on.
But it's probable that the DJ deal was not 2.1 million upfront, and we know Clemence cost 750k.

Remember he made some money back from the sale of McCarthy - 650k.
And if Fryatt leaves for around 1.5 millon... then I guess he will have only gone about half a million into the red regarding transfer fees.... who knows about the other factors though.

I think it's fairly important to establish that MM hasn't spent anything.

He'll be doing what he did at Portsmouth and spending the clubs money. Not got a problem with this as long as we all accept that transfer fees and wages over and above our income are our debt. MM will manage that debt until such time as our income pays it off (i.e. we get into the Premier League). He will be guaranteeing loans at best.

Of course, if we don't go up or MM croaks it . . . feck knows.

Talking to a blue nose workmate today and he says that we have a great signing in Clemence. He was disappointed that they transfered him and also says that he was by far the best Brummie player last season.
Although on a note of caution i told him that they had got a great player in Muzzy, but what with injuries the blues never got to see the real Muzzy. My mate couldnt understand why we valued Muzzy so much.

How come?

He is modelling a new line of Burkas in his home town of Tehran for the ladies. As he can run at the speed of light he is able to hot foot it from the asian games, don a burka, eat a donna & get back to the next game. Promising start.

Watched Milans interview on SSN. He said they want 4 more players; creative midfielders and defenders. Wouldn't give any names away though!!
