HTC Desire questions - email accounts

Is there a way that once you delete an email it deletes immediately rather than going to the trash folder and having to be deleted a second time?

When you have multiple email accounts on your phone, is there a way to delete emails from ALL account folders (or at least all of the trash folders) instead of having to switch to each one separately?

Is it a POP email account, GMail account or IMAP account?

Oh, btw, I have no fecking clue either way, just thought it might clear it up for someone else!

Feck off, you've got me confused with Durham there! I own a Desire HD and really don't like apple!
My point was I only use the default Gmail functionality and it deletes fine!
