HTC Desire -'stuck' email

I have three email accounts set up on my HTC Desire. Four emails from one account seem to have appeared in the inbox of another account and no matter what i do I can't delete them. Trying causes an error message saying process.com.htc.android.email has stopped unexpectedly.

Any ideas before I delete the whole account and set it up again?

Go to accounts and sync in the menu and remove the account then add it again.

That's what I had to do in the end. Still, I expect it's less problematical on the whole that if I had an iPhone :icon_bigg
