Durham Fox

El Dude Brother.
Is anyone going down to see the new breed of Galactico's in action dow at the Marstons on Saturday. Local press are reporting a strong squad for the day but I can forsee Pearson using it to make a final decision on the touring party fielding fringe players.

Re: LCFC v HUFC

Would have liked to have done this one, but due to engineering work it's nearly five hours from London. Will probably do Kettering and defo go to Palace.

Wish I could go but I am unfortunately working. Hoping to go to the Quorn and Ilkeston games though.

Eh? Just over two hours from Euston to Cov - local bus from there - nowhere near 5 hours!

Shame I can't make that game. I went Ilkeston before they built a new ground - very quaint the old ground. You have to go over a small bridge to get to it - Ilkeston is a very quaint place in fact. Back then they were gunning for the Conference. Gone down the pyramid a bit now.

David Holdsworth is Ilkeston Town manager now after a quick visit to a website.

I'll be going down having been to the fixture for the past couple of years too. I think there was about 3,000 there last year all looking forward to the new season with the new manager and a whole host of new players...

Re: LCFC v HUFC

Why would you do that when it's quicker via Leicester?

So that I could travel on the special Virgin services that are routed via the freight connecting lines onto the Western main line and then via the Greenford Loop and High Wycombe. I thought you would know that.
