It said on 3 sport on my mobile today that Hughes has taken another knock in the same area as his previous injury.
This has resulted in a new injury and that Rob Kelly and the coaching staff have toned down his duties again after he had made a comeback to almost full training.
Hopefully it hasnt set the lad back too far.

So do I. He looks like he might develop into a good player. ;)

Yeh he is the better of the two when compared with Williams. Who I really havent rated this season so far.

i don't know From what i've seen/heard of Williams he seems to be having a good season so far.

as much as i don't want Hughes injury to be serious you never know this might be a blessing in disguise with the transfer window still open and all.

I can see your point on the hughes thing. Just dont agree with the general view on Mr Wiliiams this season. Just dont think his overall game has been that good.

I think that Willaims (along with Connelly) has been one of our best players in the first three games. He's shown that he's class on the ball, and can play a great pass. He still seems to dift out of games a little, but not half as much as he did last season.
He seems to be getting involved more, tackling more, and generally looking like the player i thought he was going to be last season!
(Apart from his corners - which are rubbish)

I agree, Williams has been very good, he has controlled the tempo of our play, his passing and ability to retain possession has been first class, and his work rate has improved 100%, he has looked head and shoulders above the performances he gave last season and I actually think he has laid the gauntlet down to Hughes when he does come back from injury.
