I hate Saturdays

The last couple of seasons have bin a bit of a nightmare for us City fans - I love getting the sunday morning papers - studying all the facts and figures, reading the match reports, laughing at trees and cov w**kers, trying to judge where will we be in the league after the next couple of EASY fixtures and so on - but only when we win - and theres the crux - I wonder if any of you can tell me how many sundays have I been to the newsagents in the last 2 years if I only buy em when we win on a saturday? - will I be going this week-end? - doubt it but I really hope so.

It's hard to know this season, this league is just so unpredictable it seems!

I would be happy with a draw against Sheffield United usually, but then I was thinking, with so many tough teams in this league, Sheffield United is one that we should be winning really if we want to get promoted.

I think tomorrow will be 2-2 though, and for first day of the season, I'll be happy with that.

We won 7 Saturday games last season including 2 cup ties and 3 the season before - a total of 10 games in the last 2 seasons
