La Liga is so different to the Premier League in so much as the pace of play is frantic. Iborra never seemed to cope that well with it. That said I thought we were a better side with him in it because of his range of passing.

9 million for him! We have Spunked a lot of money on some garbage but I will say we have done very well with the sales of Musa and Iborra - over 20 million brought back in for those duffers! Just Slimani, Silva and Iheanacho to go.

No. He isn't. He probably was, once but he really isn't now.

I really wish people would stop with this bollocks about Silva, Slimani, Iborra, Musa etc... being 'great players' who we have somehow wronged in some way. They aren't. The only thing we have done wrong is piss away a load of cash on them.

Any news of what kind of fee we got for him?

He was awful in parts, okay in parts and good in a few others.

Biggest issue was he couldn't adapt to the pace of the league. Still think he could've worked in a midfield 3, but that's not our system and not should it be. Probably say the same for Silva too

I've seen two reports - one said £9m, the other £10m
