I joined the forum a couple of weeks back, but the following day my computer went down.
I am back now and raring to go!
Hello to all of you guys who I have not already chatted to. I have been reading you comments for a while now and thought it was about time i joined in. You guys (and gals- sorry Yorkshire vixen, Catefox etc) produce quite an interesting read at times I must admit.
I know there is already a thread about the game tomorrow, but i would just like to say that I beleive our season is just about to make a turn for the better.
I don't get to watch many games anymore (living in Plymouth) as it is a long trip each weekend. I do try and make as many games as I can though. I am looking forward to the match at the "Theatre Of Greens" as they like to call it down here. Any of you guys coming down for that one?
Seriously though I think we are now getting to a crucial part in the season. I have read time and time again on this forum that are season is over and we should be more worried about relegation than playoffs/promotion.
Our season is not over, it is just the beginning. There is so much to play for and when I look at the other teams in this league, I see the quality in our squad being much more superior to most. Call me an optimist (in fact call me what you like), but I have always been a Leicester fan and always will be, good times and bad!
Craig Levein will come good, I have no doubt about that. Everything is in place. We will definatly go close this season and if this is not to be a promotion season, things WILL only get better next season.
Be positive. This is our building process, every team in the world goes through this at some stage and it can take a long time to get things right. Rome wasn't built in a day!
We are a big club with great fans (most of anyway) and the best thing we can do now is get behind the team.
I know it is frustrating guys, but I am positive things are about to change.
For anyone who has ever sang LEICESTER TIL I DIE in the terraces(and that includes me!)....mean it, carry on singing it and enjoy it as much as possible.
That is what our team needs right now, support. There is no better motivation for a team than to have a crowd willing them on during a match.
As the yellow budgie once said said "C'mon, let's be avin ya!"
