I joined the forum a couple of weeks back, but the following day my computer went down.

I am back now and raring to go!

Hello to all of you guys who I have not already chatted to. I have been reading you comments for a while now and thought it was about time i joined in. You guys (and gals- sorry Yorkshire vixen, Catefox etc) produce quite an interesting read at times I must admit.

I know there is already a thread about the game tomorrow, but i would just like to say that I beleive our season is just about to make a turn for the better.

I don't get to watch many games anymore (living in Plymouth) as it is a long trip each weekend. I do try and make as many games as I can though. I am looking forward to the match at the "Theatre Of Greens" as they like to call it down here. Any of you guys coming down for that one?

Seriously though I think we are now getting to a crucial part in the season. I have read time and time again on this forum that are season is over and we should be more worried about relegation than playoffs/promotion.

Our season is not over, it is just the beginning. There is so much to play for and when I look at the other teams in this league, I see the quality in our squad being much more superior to most. Call me an optimist (in fact call me what you like), but I have always been a Leicester fan and always will be, good times and bad!

Craig Levein will come good, I have no doubt about that. Everything is in place. We will definatly go close this season and if this is not to be a promotion season, things WILL only get better next season.

Be positive. This is our building process, every team in the world goes through this at some stage and it can take a long time to get things right. Rome wasn't built in a day!

We are a big club with great fans (most of anyway) and the best thing we can do now is get behind the team.

I know it is frustrating guys, but I am positive things are about to change.

For anyone who has ever sang LEICESTER TIL I DIE in the terraces(and that includes me!)....mean it, carry on singing it and enjoy it as much as possible.

That is what our team needs right now, support. There is no better motivation for a team than to have a crowd willing them on during a match.

As the yellow budgie once said said "C'mon, let's be avin ya!" :023: :038:

greetings Plymouth fox!

I live in devon too and will be looking to see the 'away' fixture at plymouth. My 1st match of the season will be vs cov next week.

Hope to see you around on this forum!:038: :icon_lol: :icon_cool :)

Welcome Plymouth. :038: :038: :023: :icon_lol: :icon_lol: ;)

Thanks guys. :) :038:

I live very close to the Plymouth stadium and so if you are coming to the game and need to know where the friendly pubs are just let me know.

Welcome Plymouth, great post. I agree with you about the support being a help to the players, anybody who witnessed the Derby match will be able to concur with you. The performance of both the fans and players was greatly improved and the players and managment reaction to the fans was further evidence of their appreciation.

What we have to do know is replicate that support at all our games, not just against our local rivals.

But I too feel that a revival and turn in fortune is just around the corner and it will start today.

Thanks mate. I think you are right.

This might sound a little stupid but has anyone seen 'Supernanny' or 'Its Me Or The Dog'?

They use reinforcement techniques to build confidence by applauding them everytime they do something good, even the slightest little thing.

I think that is what our fans need to do with our team. Keep cheering them on and their confidence will rise and the team will come good. :038: :038:

If you shout abuse towards them or boo all the time, their confidence will continue to go down and things will only get worse!

I beleive LCFC fans have as much influence on us winning games as the team does.

So clear your throats guys and get cheering!

NO MORE MOANING, BOOING AND SHOUTING ABUSE! :038: :038: :038:

Good post Plymouth.
I've been many away matches and the support is always good. The problem we have is when we are the Walkers. At Derby all the fervent support was crowded into one area, but at home it is spread over the the whole stadium. Unfortunately there are a lot supporters who don't give their all and tend to kill a lot of the vocal support. The stadium doen't lean towards a loud support because of it's design. Spectattor wise it's brilliant but a lot of chanting tends to be killed by the roof design.
Still no matter still be there shouting my head of as usual.

Welcome back Plymouth!;)
We thought Highland must have frightened you away...

Thanks MK, BBFOX

I know what you mean about the stadium. I think it would have been a good idea when we moved to the Walkers if LCFC had suggested a specific area of the stadium for those who used to sit in the kop at Filbo.

At least then we would have a large section of fans all cheering together.

Welcome to the fold Plymouth. Everyone on here loves the hoff for some reason, so if baywatch is a personal favourate you should be fine.:icon_lol: ;)

WTF????

and hi Plymouth ! ;)

Hi Alex, Cate fox and anyone else I have not already said hi to.

Well I am certianly glad we got that win on Saturday otherwise I would have probably been feeling like a fool this week.

Lets just hope we can get another win tomorrow and go on a bit of a run. A couple of wins in a row would put us right up there for a playoff spot, not to mention boosting the teams confidence.

I am backing Leicester to win 3-1 tomorrow with Elvis getting the first goal. For those of you who like a bit of a bet, you can get odds on that happening of 70/1.

I am sure we are turning the corner now and once we get our flying Arsenal winger back we will be almost back to full strength. :) :) :038: :038:

There's nobody on here that would commit such a sin Plymouth...

I would rather have my eyelashes plucked!!

That can be arranged, but the hoff suggests that you don't. It brings him back to an unfortunate eybrow plucking tweezer accident that he'd rather forget...

Sorry BF. It is pretty difficult to tell if users are male or female just by a quick glance at their user names. I apologise :) ;)

I did notice that you are from Earl Shilton though. I am originally from Barwell and so there is a good chance we already know each other anyway.

  ;)
