Most of the prices seem to have gone up - soft drinks and chocoalte both by more than 11%. Who wants to pay £2 for a bottle of Coke when you can get 2 for £1.40 just down the road.

Football fans are treated like the mugs that they are!

The prices are stupid even without the rise in prices. I personally would prefer to pay a few pence more and it be decent though.

A Diet Coke is a Diet Coke wherever you buy it (unless it's on of those CokeLight things from Eastern Euope that they sell in the chip shop in Granby Street). I can't see any reason to charge £2 for a bottle just because you're selling it in a football ground.

I agree, however I didnt notice the pints and burgers had gone up a great deal if at all and the were of a much better standard.

I've never had a burger in the ground - one look at somebody else's was enough for me - so I didn't even know the price of them. The same firm that was doing them outside the ground last season is now doing them inside as well. They are decent burgers - or as decent as burgers get - and I suppose we have got to expect that they will be more expensive than last season.

No lids for the hot drinks though, surely it's not rocket science to make sure that you have at least as many lids as you have drinks. Staff didn't seem too interested in looking for any either.

If it's the same firm as outside then they are the firm who gave me a hotdog with frozen onions a couple of years ago at an evening game. I have not consumed comestibles at the Walkers since and do not intend to. Hang on till the chippie is my advice.

I was lucky enough to get a v.i.p vice presidents season ticket this season, and when i entered everyone was dressed in suits discussing matters about the clubs etc, me and my mate just sat down and said nothing lol.

I liked the free tea and coffee and food:), that made my day as well as the win!

don't listen to him georgina, there isn't and never will be a pie better than pukka pies and i cant believe they wont be selling them at the walkers this season.

The food may have improved but the prices are amazingly bad.
I will definately not be buying anything inside the ground from now on.

I was actually very unimpressed with the catering.

I wanted 2 balti pies a pepsi max and a lucozade. Pretty simple IMO. But that was not the case.

  • Firstly where are the buttons for these products on my till? Time taken 2 mins
  • Second where are these pies? Oh actually we have sold out! Time taken 4 mins
  • Removing items from bill: 5 mins
  • Changing order and re-entering it 1 min
  • Finding out they then had no lucozades
And it went on.......
