This season there has been a lot of suggestion that Jannie should not be offered a new contract because he is slow or old or shite or some combination of all three.
Certainly last season he was not impressive, but hardly anyone else was either.
This season Jannie has been outstanding. He is obviously not good enough to be a first choice starter in the Premier League, but that does not mean he would not be useful as backup or super sub,
I would offer him a 12 month contract, but not on silly money.
For the same reasons I would also offer limited contracts to Vardy and Albrighton who bring a wealth of skill and experience to our team.

Totally disagree. His recent performances and especially against Bournemouth prove otherwise.

He's 31 so will likely be looking for a long contract, the sensible thing for City though is to offer no more than two years

So we'll probably give him 7 years and triple his salary
I'm hoping those days are now gone, the contracts handed out earlier in the season seemed sensible and the lack of announcments for those whose contracts are running down suggests that somebody has learned a lesson
