21 draws is the only stat needed for this season - shows that we can't kill a game!

Now that we can take a more logical look at the season , i noted from the stats that we only lost 2 of our last 12 games and they were against the 2 promoted sides. Maybe CL is having more effect on our side than we dare admit. If we only had 1 defeat in the first 8 games next season, then that would make it only 3 defeats in the last 20. Thats nearly automatic promotion form.

only 3 defeats when winning. not a bad improvement that.

I like your reasoning except that I would look at it slightly differently. I think the side should not be thinking about the smallest number of defeats as being a good thing, but should be looking to win every game before and during the game. The current way of thinking is causing too many draws. :D :D  ;-)

How many times have we seen City looking to protect what they have rather than going out and try to kill the game. The players need to realise they could have lost 14 of the drawn games and won the other seven and still had the same number of points. In short City need to learn how to win. :P :P :D :D  ;-)

I agree with Steven...for once.We need to go out and win games rather than settle for draws.

i'd sooner win 10 and lose 3 than draw 10 times unbeaten. points win prizes and getting draws will get us no where just like this season.

I agree with you Steven and Highland. But what i probaly didn't explain is that CL gave us a more solid look in the final 12 games with a side even he would admit was going nowhere. Which IMO is a good thing because when he puts out a side that HE WANTS, then we will with a bit of luck, be a serious threat.
