just looked up about sergio hellings on wikipedia and a couple of interesting things stood out

1. it was a shock that he left anderlecht-and the club he left for were the one he supported all his life
2. hes a popular figure in holland
3. we beat of the interest of fulham wigan seville and werder bremen to sign him

Well - I can buy that Ajax are his favourite team. I think that we have to appreciate that he went from one big club to another, and although Ajx are great with their youngsters he didn't get a chance. I thnk Seville, Wigan and Werder Bremen would have offered reserve team football whereas he will get a shot (imo) with us - prob why he came. However, be sure that he will jump ship if he is as good as billed - this kid doesnt have a problem in moving to find good first team football.
