Can anyone suggest the best software to use to convert movies from DVD to a compatable file for upload to my ipod video.

I have currently got a trial version of 'PQ DVD to iPod Video Suite'.

Is there some free software that is good/easy to use?

I havn't Gaz no, just found it after a bit of Goooooogling, but I'm just after realising it is a How-to for Macs.

Are you using Windows?

Windows version of Handbrake Here

The screen shots in the how-to are taken from the Mac version, but I would imagine the software functions pretty much the same.
