Im having regular issues Jeff. Crashing, really long load times, the site signing me out all the time.

Even running in compatibility mode doesnt help.

Is anyone else having issues?

I haven't had any problems, apart from on Tuesday for a few minutes when I had to reboot the server.

I haven't got IE8, but I know it has been advised to use compatibility mode for vBulletin forums like this.

You should really be asking if IE8 is TB compatible, I understand that it's IE causing the problems, not the other way round.

If compatibility mode isn't working maybe it's due to the fact that I have moved the site around a lot in the last few days.

The hosting company I was using was unreliable, I was having to deal with various things crashing every day or two, so I bought a new dedicated server, which I moved the site to last Friday. It turned out not to be powerful enough for some of my other sites though, so I moved TB back to the old one again at the weekend. That crashed a couple of times, so I moved the site back to the new one on Tuesday, but only as a temporary measure.

I've now ordered a more powerful server, with 4GB RAM and decent processors, which I'm setting up at the moment. I plan to move TB onto the new server in the early hours of tomorrow morning.

This means the site will be hosted in the US again. I've checked the ping times though and it seems to be OK, less than a tenth of a second slower than having it in the UK and hopefully the extra power of the server will make up for that.

The site has been on the new server since yesterday morning, have you had any problems since then?

I've added some info to the bottom of each page that may help diagnose long page load times, it says something like "Page generated in 0.08827996 seconds (76.00% PHP - 24.00% MySQL) with 11 queries", so if anyone experiences problems please copy and paste the info into a new thread if you want me to look into it.

None at all yet, no :038:
