Is now my favourite programme for shouting at the TV.

Now, it may be just me, but I have some problems working out how demolishing one house and building another is green. Especially, perhaps, when you want a 'green' green-oak frame - which you import because it's cheaper. And then you work out that installing a £48,000 wind-turbine will save you close on £100,000 over 20 years. Now, they didn't detail the calculations, so I don't know if they discounted cash-flows, but given the general stupidity, you would guess not. So, consuming £7,500 of electricity a year in the house. You know, I'd have maybe thought, although it might not be easy, getting the electricity bill down to half that might be a little bit greener than building and importing another huge chunk of pointless tech...

But we're not going to get any sensible analysis about just how green this might be when the slaphead feckwit presenting it tools up and down the country in a fecking Land Rover. Any bollocks is fine just so long as you shit in a shed...

I wouldn't be so enraged if it was just hypocrisy - as in, "We should all do our bit to save the planet." while obviously not doing your bit (beliefs are good - failing to live up to them is human). It's the fecking stupidity, smugness and duplicity that does my head in here.

I can see your point on the huge country home and other parts, however i think his Land Rover runs on reclaimed vegetable oil not diesel.
