Ive got a problem charging my Samsung A5 2017

I'm having problems charging my Samsung A5 -the 2017 version.
Recently it's been charging only in certain positions and last night I accidentally left it on, when I've been switching it off during the night, and now this morning it's dead and won't charge at all.

When my iPhone did this, it was because of the amount of dust that had accumulated in the charging port. I just straightened out a paper clip and fished it all out. I can’t offer “techie” advice, but that worked for me.

Try a different cable, a newer one should have a tighter fit and a more reliable connection. Other wise try propping up the wire while it's connected.
