Young goalkeeper Daniel Iversen has signed a loan deal with Preston North End until the end of the 2020/21 campaign, subject to Football League clearance.
The 23-year-old Dane joined OH Leuven on loan in August 2020 and made five appearances in Belgium’s top-flight before returning to the Foxes ahead of a move to Deepdale.
He played 38 times for Rotherham United in all competitions in 2019/20, keeping 10 clean sheets in Sky Bet League One as he helped the Millers to promotion to the second tier.
Internationally, he has represented Denmark from Under-16 to Under-21 level, and received his first call-up to the senior squad in 2019.
Alex Neil’s Preston side are next in action on Saturday when they travel to Wycombe Wanderers in the Emirates FA Cup.
