I saw a lot of Chester at Carlisle last season and he'd be a very good signing. Quite small for a central defender, but he reads the game well, is composed on the ball and a good passer.

Marshall left Man U when he was 14!

Pearson signed three Man U reserves for Hull last year, all of them not longer after they'd been on loan at Carlisle - at the same time as Marshall was at Carlisle.

Hull paid £300,000 for him a year ago. Inflation is around 4%, so he must be worth about £312,000 now. That is how it works, isn't it?

Certainly is, but based on what other sources are reporting, I can't see it being anything other than Morgan. And even then, at best it's that a bid has been accepted...

The way he's building it up, surely it has to be something better.
