Evening all, i watched city play real sociedad and johnson was pants, the game against luton he wasn't in the game, and listening to the burnley game he sounded shattered and only heard him mentioned once, I get the impression that he is an old has been in his twilight years, I just dont see how he is a first team regular. Is it because wesolowski is injured? chuffed to bits with the ipswich game amazing what a bit of width does to the opposition, hopefully i will be proved wrong but I just dont see what he gives to the side!

I wasn't there but he seemed to improve v. Ipswich.

Harsh - he has more about him than Nalis - he played well on Sat vs Ipswich, give him time he'll do a good job for us

IMO Weso will be cover for Johnson as he wont be able to play every game this season and so Weso can replace him for the odd game and slowly get back into playing regular football.

If Weso breaks his leg again thats his career over IMO, so there is no need to rush him back.

Johnson is a one season player IMO. as willllllllllow said above he is here to allow us to slowly introduce weso back into the squad (well hopefully that is the plan rather than rushing him back like before).
At the end of the day he is an older player and he maybe is taking a bit longer to gt match fit but he did look better on sat than he did the previous tuesday.
